Executive Function Coaching:

Executive Function coaching is aimed at high school-aged children and those adjusting to higher education. If your child struggles to keep his or her grades up due to struggles with time management, planning, persistence, distractibility, impulsiveness or other executive function skills this is for him/her, especially if you spend all your time as a parent taking on these battles and running into resistance.

For dyslexic students graduating from my multisensory language program, this academic coaching combines brain-friendly school management and assistive technology strategies along with composition and written output homework support as needed.

Suggestions can be better received by a coach. I work with your child to develop smart study strategies that s/he can use to become successful academically. My goal is to work myself out of a job so that your child can continue the habits s/he develops to reach the heights s/he wants to reach without me. This is more than Executive Function coaching, this is hands-on, practical and success-focused.
