Last week I posted an article on the ‘Chopstick Bug Challenge’  and talked a little about why it’s so important to work on preschooler’s fine motor skills.

This week I discovered another fun way to strengthen those finger muscles quite by accident. We were painting using glitter paint, it doesn’t really matter what type, but the bottle has a narrow top so you can almost write with it. The paint is thicker than kids paint and so you have to squeeze the bottle to get it out – particularly if you want it out in the quantities my son wants it.

He loves using this stuff, and it gives his fingers quite  a workout at the same time. So a win on two fronts.
