I am an accredited OG Canada Math Practitioner but that is just where my training started. I continue to learn, read research and adopt evidence-based practices within my practice.
Note: All sessions are VIRTUAL. Parents must sit with children under the age of 10 and be prepared to provide hands-on assistance.
Multisensory Math:
Age: K-7
Every person has a math brain….and if your child has a hard time believing this, then these are the sessions for him or her. My Multisensory Math sessions are very hands-on. We follow the evidence-based CRA (Concrete, Representational, Abstract) method, we play a lot of games and through our work, I will build your child’s confidence while building strong mathematical foundations and making sense of the language of math.
Math Manipulatives: Multisensory math requires the use of math manipulatives. You will be given a list of manipulatives to purchase or the option to buy second-hand from me if I have some available.
Depending on your child’s needs, you may need to remain present throughout sessions.
Math Packages Include more than just your session:
- Intake baseline assessment.
- Progress monitoring
- Customized lesson plans
- 1 strategy session per term.
- Selected manipulatives mailed to you.
- End-of-term report
- Lesson summaries
- Access to custom software & publications.
- Access to my weekly office hours.
Session Frequency.
1.5 hours per week – 3 x 30-minute sessions.
2.25 hours per week – 2 x 45-minute sessions.
Schedules including more hours can be created on request. Package pricing is set per term and can be paid upfront or in equal monthly installments. Pricing is available on request.
